Each 2400 x 200 x 51mm SSR Sleeper weighs only 18.2kg! FITTA’s patented design features a Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) shell made from recycled materials, reinforced with 2 structural steel beams. The result is a sleeper engineered to take the same 5kPa load as concrete sleepers that weighs a whopping 75% less! No longer will you need to use machines or risk backbreaking labour to assemble retaining walls.
And tight access concerns are also a thing of the past with FITTA SSR’s! Unlike timber, SSR’s are zero to low maintenance! They never have to be painted and are also resistant to pests and rot.
